The Issue: Laptop freezes when I play online games?
    Extra notes about the situation
    - Laptop System Information made from Speccy
    - Problem started last night after laptop updated
    - I have two laptops that I use with family. The one experiencing problems will be L1 and the other will be L2
    - Whenever L1 froze, L2 suffered a huge latency spike that usually lasted 5-10 seconds. Afterwards, the L2 would go back to normal while L1 would remain frozen.
    - L2 doesn't experience any other problems
    - I can stream music
    - Laptop still freezes regardless of whether it's the game is the first thing I play on boot-up or last game of the night

    Games that freeze
    - CSGO
    - At Server Browser
    - At loading screen for server
    - As soon as I join a server or little after
    - LOL
    - At loading screen of match
    - As soon as match begins or little after
    Games that are fine
    - Titan Quest: Single + Multi-player
    - Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor
    - 7 Days to Die: Single + Multi-player

    - FTL

    Things I have tried

    - Turning pc off/on again :P
    - Reinstalling all network adapters
    - Uninstalling latest windows update
    - Reinstalling latest windows update
    - Doing full-system scan with Avast (No problems)
    - Doing boot-time scan with Avast (No problems)

I've never posted on any forum before for a problem like this so if I am missing something or forgot to do something, just let me know. Hope you guys can help since I can't help myself.

It's just freeze lag, sometimes my csgo freezes for 2-3 seconds. I think it's probably the cpu.

Everything freezes - the game, mouse, music. Everything becomes unresponsive and never recovers so I always have to use the power button to shut it down.

Hm, it may possibly RAM is failing. Try swapping out the ram from L2 into L1 and see if it still freezes, or install 2 flash drives and boot off of memtest and compare the results of L1 and L2.

If you have windows 10 it's an error that is associated with the Xbox block or whatever it is. Just disable the Xbox program and you could possibly see a fix. Other than that it could be potentially damaged.

@Webster's advice is pretty solid, I would suggest that. Same thing happened to me a while ago and getting new RAM fixed the issue. Could also be a dying RAM slot on your motherboard, so before you march off to get new RAM try a new slot.

Don't expect him to be swapping ram out. If you read the post, he has 2 laptops. Not everyone has the computer knowledge to take apart laptops and reconstruct them.
